Casillas: "Para los jovenes de las fuerzas inferiores (la cantera) las cosas siempre están muy difíciles"
Iker Casillas felicitó a Rubén de la Red y Álvaro Arbeloa, por ser convocados para jugar con la selección nacional Española, pese a no poder triunfar en el Real Madrid, donde cree que ambos podrían haberlo hecho. "No es fácil salir de un club al que has pertenecido y demostrar que eres muy apto para tu equipo y la selección, pero esto demuestra que después del Madrid hay vida", expresó el portero, que les recomendó que "disfruten y recuerden esta experiencia", opinó.
El meta del Real Madrid, que una vez más se mostró "pro canterano", consideró que tanto De la Red como Arbeloa podrían, "sin duda", haber triunfado en el club blanco si se les hubieran dado oportunidades porque "son jugadores muy valiosos para su equipo y para el Real Madrid seguramente lo serían". Por lo anterior, lo mismo se puede aplicar al futbol mexicano, a los jóvenes futbolistas mexicanos se les excluye de oportunidades porque se da preferencia a los jugadores extranjeros porque es el negocio de algunos presidentes ( la mayoria) y de algunos dueños de los equipos profesionales de México. Por ésto el futbol mexicano no avanza a nivel de selección, lo mismo que en España, su selección no logra conseguir titulos, porque tiene relegados a sus jóvenes por culpa de algunos que sólamente les interesa llenar sus bolsillos de dinero.
